The

loft

our newly created loft offers 360 degree views across the estuary and the village of Appledore. In one of the highest buildings on the Quay you'll feel like Mary Poppins looking out over the rooftops of Appledore or relax gazing up river towards the magnificent Tapeley House or down the estuary to watch the Taw & Torridge meet.

As the name indicates the loft apartment was previously the unused roof space that we've now converted into a large carefully designed open plan living space (Bed, lounge, dining, Kitchen) plus a luxurious  ensuite bathroom all with Views!

The  Machine room

our building started life as a collar & cuff factory, employing nearly 100 local women. the 2nd floor basks in natural light from the quayside and its in this room that production took place.

the 2nd floor is now a luxuriously furnished 2 bedroom apartment; offering two top quality ensuite bathrooms. a hi end fitted kitchen with built in appliances (including fridge, dishwasher & oven/hob and microwave), internet connected smart TVs (49" in lounge & 32" in both bedrooms) plus luxurious bedrooms that can be configured as a King size bed or 2 singles.

the Georgian Lounge

The 1st floor was the living space for the original owners, the Georgian lounge overlooks the quayside and retains many period features that give a real sense of our building's history.
